Before Dusk

“The desert was as silent as the grave today.

An endless, all consuming, grave that ran from horizon to horizon in a profoundly morbid display of liminal excess.

But a grave, nonetheless.

Sands stretched and rolled under a blazing sun, and in the blue, cloudless sky the great skeleton of Luft hung, its great singular eye overseeing the golden stage with a relentless glare.”

Jayna is far from Home on the hunt for the rare and treasured vibralillies that dot the desert, determined to make a name for herself amongst her people.

There’s only three problems:

Her brother hid away on the skiff and the Dusk is rising.

Oh, and nobody knows they’re out there…
